Pulwama 19 June(KNB): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Chatpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, Official said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that, on a specific information about the presence of militants, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Chatpora area of Pulwama district.
He said, Hiding militants fired upon the searching party which was retaliated and triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile, Firing was going on when the last reports came in.(KNB)
