Srinagar 07 February (KNB): An encounter has started between militants and police in South Kashmir Awantipora’s Nambal area on Monday.
Spokesperson said that the Awantipora police is on the job, which referred to the encounter being carried out by police without the usual part being played by the Army and CRPF as has been seen in other encounters.
However, till last update there were no reports about the casualty being inflicted on either side engaged in the ongoing gunfight. (KNB)
