Anantnag 10 May(KNB): Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Keeri area of Dooru of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, Police official said.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that, on a specific input about the presence of militants in the Kreeri Dooru area of Anantnag, Army’s 19RR, Police along with CRPF launched cordon and search operation which turned into an encounter.
Firing from the both sides was going on when the last reports came in.(KNB)
