Srinagar 12 May (KNB): After witnesses sighted the Shawal moon at several places, Grand Mufti of Kashmir declared that Eid-ul-Fitr is going to be celebrated on 13th May i.e Tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, Shawal moon was sighted at several places leading to the conclusion that Eid will be celebrated tomorrow in the Union Territory.
Pertinent to mention that the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee in Pakistan has also announced that the Shawal moon was sighted and that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow in Pakistan aswell. (KNB)
