Srinagar 06 August (KNB): Arms and ammunition was recovered from Rajpura sector of Samba district of Jammu during last night by the security forces.
As per an official, the recovery of arms and ammunition was made around Babar Nallah in Samba district of Jammu after search operation was started in the area following specific inputs.
The arms and ammunition was being kept hidden near the Babar Nallah and was later recovered by the security forces during the searches.
It was said that few pistols, bullets and other paraphernalia were recovered from the spot and searches were in progress after finding the consignment. “02 Pistols, 05 Magazines,122 rounds & one silencer were found in the packet,” said police.
They further said that troops of 6th JAKLI & Police conducted the searches during which a gunny bag containing the arms and ammunition was found. (KNB)
