Srinagar 26 June (KNB): Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura Director A.G. Ahangar on Saturday gets further extension of six months in his service.
One of the top open heart surgeons from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Dr Ahangar, who was going to retire yesterday, has got further extension six months in his service as Director SKIMS and Ex-Officio to the government.
Pertinent to mention that in his tenure so far, Dr A G Ahangar has completed around 14 big projects of the medical institution, besides taking several steps to strengthen the institute in its fight against Covid-19.
Official order regarding the same will be made public today. (KNB)
