Srinagar 05 Jan (KNB): The district administration officials of Srinagar on Saturday reviewed the snow clearance preparedness in City.
Divisional commissioner Baseer Khan along with Deputy commissioner Srinagar, Dr Sayeed Abid Rasheed visited serveral areas of Srinagar city and took stock of the road conditions, snow clearance.
The common masses of the Srinagar city lauded the efforts taken by the Deputy Commissioner and the commitment to ensure the timely clearance of the snow from the all main roads leading to the hospitals and other essential institutions besides the link roads and the main lanes.
Ghulam Nabi Madrazzi a local residents from the downtown area of nowhatta said, “First time in my life I am seeing the authorities of the Srinagar city are working day and night in clearing snow from roads, the machinaries were on work since the wee hours of early morning ,we are thankful of authorities.”
However, People appreciated the quick response of Divisional Commissioner Baseer Khan and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Syed Abid Rasheed. (KNB)
