Despite Government Allot Tenders, Authority Continue to Charge Load Carriers at Lasipora

Drivers being penalised with more than 10 Thousand Rupees: BDC Litter

Pulwama 11 November (KNB): Tipper Truckers are being penalized with hefty money, for carrying material even after the government has allotted tenders in Lasipora said BDC Litter Lasipora

Gh Mohammad Mir said, “Our Raambie Ara has been tendered by the government but why the Royalty officials are penalizing the truckers? They are being penalized with 10,000 – 30,000 Rs”
“If the tenders were not given to the people, these truckers would not be commuting in the region at all,” he said.

While speaking to Kashmir News Bureau, Gh Mohammad Mir appealed the concerned DC to tell him about the whereabouts of this money?
“If this money is the right of Panchayat/Block, it’s the money of the people, I want to know where does it go? In which account does it get deposited to?” Mir asked.

He added that the people of this region are raising their voice and demand their queries to be answered.
He said, “The people of this region want to know if the tenders have been given, why are the truckers being penalized and where is this money going to?
“I want answers from the concerned officials,” he emphasized.

He further appealed to the concerned DC to solve this issue as soon as possible. (KNB)
