Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Inaugurates Kashmir News Bureau’s Jammu Office

Jammu, Dec 19 (KNB): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Friday inaugurated the Jammu office of Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), marking an important expansion of the multimedia news agency’s presence in the Jammu region.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister lauded Kashmir News Bureau for its commitment to credible and factual journalism. He said KNB has consistently presented real and responsible news and congratulated Editor-in-Chief Malik Sajid on the opening of the new office in Jammu.

“I congratulate Malik Sajid and the entire team of Kashmir News Bureau for this initiative. KNB has always shown real news, and I hope the organisation will continue to work on the same truthful and professional basis in Jammu as it has been doing in Kashmir,” Surinder Choudhary said.

The Deputy Chief Minister also emphasised the role of responsible media in strengthening democracy and ensuring that people receive accurate and unbiased information.

Among those present on the occasion were MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat, District Development Council (DDC) member Dr Harbarash Singh, and DDC member Taranjit Singh Tony.

It is pertinent to mention that Kashmir News Bureau is a multimedia news agency with its head office located at Rajbagh, Srinagar. The opening of the Jammu office is aimed at strengthening news coverage and journalistic outreach across the Jammu region.(KNB)
