Srinagar 08 January (KNB): After Srinagar city received fresh snowfall from Friday afternoon, continuing intermittently today, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Aijaz Asad took an extensive tour to ensure everything was functional in the city.
On one of the social media platforms, Srinagar District Administration said that the DC Srinagar toured the city areas to oversee snow clearance and power restoration.
It further said that DC Srinagar directed officers to take swift action in case of any interruption in public delivery services. The areas where DC visited to take a review of things in the wake of snowfall include Dalgate, Rajbagh, Lal Ded, Magarmal Bagh, Jehangir Chowk, Batamaloo, Bemina and other adjoining areas.
Besides reviewing the status of snow clearance in the city, Aijaz Asad also went to power grid stations to ensure power supply is provided smoothly to the general public without any disruption. (KNB)
