Curfew Imposed as ‘Precautionary Measure’ in Pulwama Town

Pulwama 14 July (KNB): Authorities imposed a curfew in Pulwama town as a ‘precautionary measure’ after the three militants were killed in an encounter in the south Kashmir’s district.

Only as a precautionary measure the curfew has been imposed in Pulwama Town, officials said, adding that the announcements regarding the same has been made for the awareness of the general public.

As per sources, internet services have also been suspended across the district.

Earlier, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) Commander of Pakistan origin and two local militants were killed in the encounter, which raged mid night in New Colony area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama Town. (KNB)
