Srinagar 25 August (KNB): India has reported 37,593 new cases of Covid19 and 648 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,17,54,281 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 34,169 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 3,22,327, which constitutes 1 percent of total cases in India,” said the Health Ministry.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 2.10 percent, less than 3 percent for the last 30 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 1.92 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 61 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 59.55 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and 51.11 Cr total tests conducted so far. (KNB)
