Srinagar 14 June (KNB): Around five persons died of Covid overnight in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total death toll to 4191.
Among the total Covid fatalities in UT, three are from Kashmir and other two from Jammu. The three deceased who lost the fight to Covid are from different areas of South Kashmir and are women.
The three deceased died in different hospitals of Kashmir while other two died at GMC Jammu.
Pertinently, twelve people died in UT during the last day in which two died in GMC Rajouri, one in GMC Jammu, one in GMC Kathua, one in CHC Surankote, one in Chouhan MSC Pathankot and one died at home.
The rest among twelve deceased were from Kashmir — two died in SMHS, one in DH Ganderbal, one in SKIMS Soura and one in JLNM Hospital.
Regarding the vaccination in J&K UT, 3666437 doses were administered as on 13 June. (KNB)
