Srinagar 22 May (KNB): Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Saturday announced that the Corona Curfew would be extended till 31 May (Monday) 7am in all districts of Union Territory of J&K.
DIPR in its tweet said that “Corona Curfew imposed in all 20 districts of J&K till 7 am on Monday 24/5/21 is extended further till 7 am on Monday 31/5/21.”
It further added that “Curfew will be strict except for a few essential services. DCs (are) given limited flexibility to ensure economic activities do not suffer.”
It is pertinent to mention that the administration had imposed a lockdown in J&K’s 11 districts on 29th April in order to curb the spread of Covid19 in UT.
Later the lockdown was further extended and imposed in all 20 districts of J&K till 17th May. (KNB)
