Srinagar 25 August (KNB): After receiving an electric shock, a police cop died in Thanamandi area of Jammu’s Rajouri district this morning.
As per an official, the cop, who was a head constable, received electric shock on Wednesday morning and was later shifted to nearby hospital for a medical intervention.
After reaching the hospital the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased cop has been identified as Arif Khan, who was a resident of Thanamandi area of Rajouri.
However, following the incident, the police have taken up an investigation into the case. (KNB)
