Jammu 22 March (KNB): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K, General Secretary Vibodh Gupta on Monday, said that Congress has championed the art of misleading people and that ‘one family’ (Gandhi Family) ruled India for 70 years yet they did not give the poor and backwards their due rights.

As per a statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau, Gupta said this while  addressing party workers in a meeting at Jammu.

The statement came a day after All India Congress committee leader Rajni Patel addressed a meeting in Lolab.

Vibodh strongly asserted that the youth of Kashmir has abandoned the path of stone-pelting, which has integrated them with the mainstream and that Congress failed to do in 70 years.

He said that this was achieved because youth has been empowered in every aspect of life.
Many young and energetic faces have come to the forefront during BDC and DDC elections, he added.

He said, “Apart from political representation youth of J&K is also benefited by a plethora of job opportunities and infrastructure development in the UT.”

BJP general secretary also accused Congress of deceiving people.

“Congress is a party which believe in lying and destroyed the country with its wrong policies during its tenure of 70 years, and injustice was continuously done to Jammu and Kashmir,” Vibodh said.

He said that with the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, all obstacles in the path of holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were removed.

Moreover, he appealed party workers to stay vigilant as Congress has championed the art of misleading people. (KNB)
