Srinagar 31 October (KNB): Vice President of Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees and prominent cleric Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri has been released from detention after 20 months.
Kashmir News Bureau report confirmed the release of Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri and was welcomed with open arms by the locals of the area as well as his relatives at his home.
Veeri was arrested on February 24, 2019, later booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
Pertinently, cleric Sarjan Ahmad Barkati, who was also detained under PSA was released a few days ago. (KNB)
