Srinagar, April 25(KNB): In an ongoing encounter in the Nowpora area of North Kashmir’s Sopore, a civilian was caught in the crossfire.
The incident occurred during an exchange of fire between security forces and militants. The injured civilian has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar.
According to a top police officer, Dar sustained a bullet wound in his right shoulder due to a stray bullet. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, his condition is reported to be stable.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding the death of any militants involved in the encounter. (KNB)
