Srinagar 01 March (KNB): The spree of joining of the bureaucrats joining the politics continues, IAS officer and commissioner secretary Farooq Ahmad shah is the latest who joined the politics by joining the regional party National Conference.
Bureaucrats are eyeing the politics as the vibrant medium of service to common masses, and have identified the politics as the most suitable, comfortable, and active way in order to bring the desired change in the society.
Change is evolutionary and essential as stagnation brings leads to stinking and changes bring freshness. The bureaucrat’s will help in the conductance of good governance and service by providing valuable knowledge and experience of the civil works to the political parties. With coming of the IAS officers into the political panel, one can hope of good team work by political parties.
Talking to Kashmir news bureau Qazi Sajad , a political science scholar said “ the joining of the politics has become a trend in India as well as in state of Jammu and Kashmir, they are using their fame as a platform in politics largely.
He added they are persons of the system, are known with the drawbacks within the system, they can constitute the framework to overcome these.”
Top bureaucrat Farooq Ahmad Shah said “I was bound and unable to fully serve the common Masses, I am free now and politics is only platform which provides an opportunity to help the common masses on largest scale
Earlier Civil service topper and IAS officer Shah Faisal also joined the politics after resigning from the civil services , and during a press conference said “ I believe parliament is an important place and we need well read and well-meaning people there and reimagine the politics and represent people correctly.
Politicians act as the drivers of the nation but the bureaucrats are the real navigators of the functioning of the government. So a wise and clever driver is driver is required to learn the navigation of the bureaucrat to avoid any mislead or crisis. (KNB)
