Srinagar, March 02(KNB) : A bus carrying almost 50 passengers skidded off the road and fell in to a deep gorge on Friday late night near chaner area of Mahala in Udhampur district in which six passengers including a woman died and 39 others were injured.
As per the reports, a bus (JK02BR-5503) carrying Kashmiri passengers travelling towards Srinagar from jammu met with accident last night that left 6 passengers dead while many others injured.
Meanwhile, a rescue operation was launched by teams of revenue, Civil defence and police and 40 injured were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment, however one among the injured succumbed later.(KNB)
