Srinagar 04 June (KNB): A minor girl’s body, 4, was found dead after her body was lacerated by a leopard in Central Kashmir’s Ompora area of Budgam.
According to an official, the body of the girl was found from a nearby nursery plant area. The girl went missing yesterday evening after she was playing outside her home.
One of the locals following the incident told reporters on Friday that the adjacent forest in the area should be destroyed. The locals believed that the animal had come from the forest area.
Residents of the area were fuming with anger after the incident and complained about the negligence of the government and concerned authorities due to which the incident took place. (KNB)
