Baramulla 13 March(KNB): Baramulla Police on Moday arrested Drug Peddler and recovered 36 bottles of Corex from his procession in Chakloo area north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
IIIn a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau, Police spokesperson said that on routine patrolling at Chakloo Baramulla, Police under the supervision of Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad, Offg. DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by DySP Prob Naveed Ahmad Qazi, SHO PS Baramulla noticed a person wandering who was also carrying a handbag who upon seeing the police party tried to flee from the spot however alert party apprehended him tactfully.
During his personal search and of the handbag 36 bottles of Corex was recovered from his possession who was identified as Umar Yousuf Lone S/O Mohd Yousuf Lone R/O Nadihal Rafiabad, District Baramulla and was taken into custody immediately, police said.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion statement added. (KNB)
