Bandipora 27 Jan(KNB): In a benevolent gesture, the Bandipora Youth Federation and Ali’s Sports Academy, led by Padma-Shri Awardee Shri Faisal Ali Dar, contributed a significant medical asset to District Hospital Bandipora.
The donation, comprising five state-of-the-art Part Hematology Analyzers (Beacon), was officially handed over today.
The handover ceremony witnessed the presence of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman (IAS), who personally delivered the equipment to the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Bandipora, Dr Sheikh Mushtaq.
The event was attended by ADC Bandipora Shri Umar Shafi Pandit, Tehsildar Bandipora Shri Sheikh Tariq, and other hospital staff.
Expressing his appreciation, DC Bandipora Shakeel Ur Rehman praised the Bandipora Youth Federation and Ali’s Sports Academy for their commendable service to the community.
He highlighted the importance of the donated Hematology Analyzers in enhancing the hospital’s capacity to treat various medical conditions, including dialysis, cancer, diabetes, and anemia.
Acknowledging the generosity of the organizations,Shakeel Ur Rehman commended their commitment to healthcare, emphasizing the instrumental role played by such donations in supporting the well-being of the community.
The donated medical equipment is estimated to be worth five to six lakhs, marking a substantial contribution to the healthcare infrastructure of District Hospital Bandipora.(KNB)
