Ashok Koul Condemns Attack on BJP Leader Anwar Khan’s Residence in Nowgam

Srinagar, April 01: Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary (Organisation), Ashok Koul condemned the attack on BJP leader in Nowgam and termed killing of a police man as  unfortunate. 

Koul in an statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau said that those who attacked Anwar Khan residence and killed  an innocent cop will not be spared and urged administration and police to provide proper security for prominent leader of the BJP.

Although Khan was not at his residence on Thursday when the militants carried out the attack. While policeman Rameez Raja guarding him was killed in an action. 

Koul while paying rich tributes to the slain police cop who was killed by militants. He also offered condolences with the bereaved family and stated that killing has pained the party.

“All BJP leaders of the country stand by the family in this difficult situation. Those who are responsible for the act should be neutralized,” he said. 

Koul said militants are targeting party workers and innocent civilians but they did not know that every person is ready to give sacrifice for this country. 

He also demanded party workers should be given proper security, so that they will not become easy targets for anti national elements. 

BJP Kashmir Media Incharge, Manzoor Bhat also prayed a rich tribute to the departed soul. Such incidents are unfortunate and it must be stopped, he said. (KNB)
