As Srinagar Receives Snowfall, Omar Abdullah Takes a Veiled Dig at PDD, R&B

Srinagar 07 January (KNB): As the snow started in Srinagar late afternoon on Friday, Ex-Chief Minister of J&K and Vice President National Conference Omar Abdullah hopes electricity supply to remain intact and roads passable.

In a seemingly sarcastic tone, Omar Abdullah took a veiled dig at the Electricity and R&B departments by tweeting, “The snow has started coming down quite heavily in Srinagar. Let’s hope the roads remain open & equally importantly the electricity supply is not disrupted.”

The tweet from Omar Abdullah came as a sign to corroborate the fact that Kashmir often lands in the midst of miseries exacerbated by the interrupted electricity and impassable roads during the snowfall. (KNB)
