Arvind kejriwal joins fast in solidarity with farmers

Delhi 14 December (KNB): The farmers, who are protesting against the contentious agriculture laws entered day 19 today, started hunger strike from 8 am to press their demands for repealing of the law.

The farmers’ hunger strike is also going to be observed by the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, today. He also requested the people for the same throw his Twitter handle: “Fasting is good for health. Please fast to support our farmer brothers irrespective of wherever you are located. Pray for the success of their movement. They’ll definitely emerge victorious in the end.”

However, the farmers were recently offered some concessions by the government, but they refused to accept it. There is an adamant attitude in the farmers’ protest not to budge a little without the revocation of whole law.

Pertinently the farmers are protesting against the agriculture bill 2020, which was passed on 27th of September, from 26th November this year and are intensifying it today with their fast.(KNB)
