Srinagar 19 July (KNB): Around thirty people died in Pakistan after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Punjab province’s Dera Ghazi Khan area on Monday.
As per reports, the victims of the accident, mostly laborers, were on their way to homes to celebrate the upcoming Eid ul Adha when the bus collided with a trailer truck, resulting in the death of around 30 passengers and injuring several others.
Following the accident, injured ones were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and others breathed their last while reaching the medical facility.
In the aftermath of the accident, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of Pakistan Ch Fawad Hussain tweeted that “Thirty people have lost their lives in a traffic accident near Dera Ghazi Khan.
He added “When will we as a nation realize that violation of traffic rules is fatal? Public transport drivers are the trustees of people’s lives.” (KNB)
