Srinagar 11 February (KNB): Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar will be hosting a recruitment rally at JAK LI Regiment Centre (J&K) from 24 to 26 March 2021 covering districts Jammu, Samba, Reasi & Rajouri on 24 Mar 2021, Udhampur, Kathua, Doda & Poonch on 25 Mar 2021, Balance Districts of Jammu and Kashmir (Union Territory), Districts of Ladakh (UT) and Rest of India Tradesman on 26 Mar 2021.
As per a statement issued to Kashmir News Bureau the recruitment rally will be for all categories i.e Soldier General Duty (10 pass), Soldier General Duty (Sportsmen) (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesmen (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesmen Musician (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesman (8th Pass) and Soldier Clerk/SKT (10+2 Pass).
Officials stated that due to Covid-19 Pandemic Situation, candidates must report district wise as per schedule given above at JAK LI Regimental Centre.
“All candidates are required to produce a Covid-19 Free/Asymptomatic Report from Government Hospital/Laboratory or Hospital/Laboratory authorized by the Government and No Risk Certificate duly signature by the Individual and his Parent,” officials stated.
The statement further informed that the screening of the eligible candidates volunteering to join Indian Army will be carried out at rally site as per the schedule intimated through respective e-mail IDs.
“All prospective candidates should register and apply online through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.” officials said, adding that the Physical Screening and Medical Exam will be on 24 Mar 2021 and Common Entrance Exam (CEE) (Soldier General Duty, Soldier General Duty (Sportsmen), Soldier Tradesmen (10th Pass), Soldier Tradesmen (musician), Soldier Tradesmen (8th Pass), & Sol Clerk/SKT), for the qualified candidates will be held on 30 May 2021 at JAK LI Regimental Centre.
“Screening will include Physical fitness tests, Physical Measurement tests, documents check and medical examination. Recruitment is a free service and is conducted in a fair and impartial manner,” officials said, adding that the selection will be made purely on merit basis.
Statement further stated, “aspirants are advised not to fall prey to any tout/anti-social element,” adding that the selected candidates will not only get a lifetime opportunity to serve in various arms and services of the Army but will also be able to serve the Nation with honor and dignity. (KNB)
