Srinagar, Apr 22 (KNB): On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 civilian lives, the Indian Army on Wednesday reiterated its firm commitment to combating terrorism, recalling its response under Operation Sindoor and asserting that any hostile act against India will invite a decisive response.
On April 22, 2025, terrorists opened fire in the tourist hub of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 civilians. The incident, which took place in a well-known tourist destination, sparked outrage and condemnation across the country, leaving the nation deeply shaken.
In a post on X, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) of the Indian Army, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said, “For acts against India, the response is assured. Justice will be served. Always.”
The post was accompanied by a graphic referencing Operation Sindoor, which read, “Operation Sindoor continues…”
