Kupwara 15 Aug (KNB):Independence Day 2022 was celebrated at the remote village of Chuntwari barely 5 Km from LoC with traditional festivities, zeal and fervour.
In a statement issued to news agency Kashmir News Bureau-KNB that the significant thing to note was that despite bad weather 300 locals along with 115 school children gathered at Army Goodwill School, Raghvan to pay their respects to the National Flag and sing the National Anthem.
Post unfurling the Flag, little school children presented their Cultural Programme which included a skit, few dance performances, and patriotic songs.
The event culminated with distribution of sweets and refreshments to all attendees including school children, their parents, youth and the villagers, statement added.(KNB)
