Srinagar 11 August (KNB): Government security forces on Wednesday recovered arms and ammunition near the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reportedly, a cordon and search operation was launched by Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army in Govind Nallah area of the district, which lies along the LoC.
During the operation, several AK-47 rifles, AK magazines, few pistols, pistol magazines, around 18 grenades, ammunition and other incriminating material were recovered at Tarbal Village of Gurez.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is going on. (KNB)
