‘Prays for peace and prosperity for mankind’
Srinagar 28 October (KNB): Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari extended his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
While felicitating the people especially the Muslim Ummah on the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) Bukhari expressed sincere hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of harmony, peace, progress, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that Islam teaches the people values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, all of which need to be vigorously inculcated in today’s trouble-torn world.
“Prophet Mohammad (SAW) was the embodiment of these virtues and people should read his biography and follow his footsteps for the well-being and happiness in the world and hereafter,” Bukhari remarked.
Apni Party president said the occasion of Eid-e-Milad provides the believers an opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind.
“Let the day be the harbinger of peace and development for Jammu and Kashmir and the whole world,” he prayed. (KNB)
