Srinagar, August 13 (KNB): Regarding holding the I-Day function on August 15, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole on Friday said that all things are in place.
Pole said to reporters while overseeing the dry run of the August 15 function that he has taken an appraisal of things for the celebration of 75th Independence day.
He also said that besides other things, cultural shows and parades would take place on 15 August.
It is pertinent to mention that as per recent communication from the government addressed to both Div Coms of Jammu and Kashmir, On 15 August, LG Manoj Sinha would take the salute and preside over the main function at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Srinagar. (KNB)
