Srinagar 15 June (KNB): Man-eater leopard, which ate the minor girl of Ompora Budgam of late, has been caught alive by the wildlife on Tuesday at the DC office complex.
According to an official, the leopard was caught after its presence was seen at the nursery in the vicinity of the DC office.
However, the leopard was also spotted by the locals and security forces just some days ago in the same area.
The district administration with the wildlife department had doubled their efforts and was using every possible means to do away with the man-eater leopard after it ate the minor girl.
Pertinently, the leopard was captured alive in a cage today and has certainly settled the nerves of the locals of the area. (KNB)
