Kupwara 01 March(KNB): After 75 days, Body of Kupwara man who was alleged missing from army custody found from Zurhama PK Galli Forests early this morning.
According to police spokesperson, The dead Body of Abdul Rashid was found today early in the morning from Zurhama PK Galli Forest area of Kupwara district.
“The dead body was brought to SDH Kupwara where it was identified by the relatives of missing person, after completing all medico-legal formalities including post mortem by a team of doctors, the dead body was handed over to the family members for burial, he said.
Cognisance of the matter has been taken for further investigations. Further details will be shared, he further said.
Pertain to mention here, Rashid was missing on December 16 2022 as per the family, and protests were also staged at Srinagar and In Kupwara from the family.(KNB)
