Pattan 23 Oct KNB): A fire broke out in a tin shed belonging to Fayaz Ahmad Malik, son of Haji Mohd Malik, a resident of Singhpora, where dry grass was stored.
Soon after the incident, teams from the Fire and Emergency Services and a police party from Police Post Mirgund reached the spot and, with the assistance of local residents, managed to douse the flames.
Around 2,000 bundles of dry grass were reportedly burnt in the incident.
However, no injuries were reported.
