Sopore, Aug 9(KNB): A massive security crackdown against a suspected network linked to the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) is underway across Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Search operations are being conducted at 26 locations in connection with a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) against the banned organisation.
Security forces and investigating agencies are carrying out searches at multiple locations as part of the ongoing investigation into the alleged activities and network associated with JeI.
