Sopore, June 12(KNB): Sopore Police organized an awareness programme on the New Criminal Laws (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita – BNS) at Shri PM Government High School Panjipora on June 12, 2026.
The programme was conducted by Police Station Tarzoo with the aim of creating awareness among students about the recently introduced criminal laws and their significance. Students actively participated in the session and were informed about various legal provisions, citizens’ rights, and responsibilities under the new legal framework.
The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts of Sopore Police to promote legal awareness and strengthen community engagement among the youth.(KNB)
