Anantnag, May 13 (KNB): The Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Anantnag on Tuesday organised the Zonal Level Inter-School Kho-Kho Competition for Under-14 girls at Sports Stadium Monghall, Anantnag, under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in collaboration with the District Administration Anantnag.
As many as 24 schools participated in the event, showcasing talent and sportsmanship during the competition.
The final match was played between Birla Open Minds International School Anantnag and Government Girls High School Khanabal. GHS Khanabal delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament and defeated Birla Open Minds Anantnag by 09 points to lift the title.
Later, Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Pala, ITO Coach of GHS Khanabal Anantnag, distributed prizes among the winner and runner-up teams in presence of senior Physical Education Masters and Physical Education Teachers of Youth Services and Sports District Anantnag.(KNB)
