
Srinagar, April 15 (KNB): Muslim Rashtriya Manch (a wing of RSS) Kashmir Division Convener Saif Baba on Tuesday welcomed the anti-drug campaign launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, terming the initiative a timely and much-needed step to safeguard the youth of Jammu and Kashmir from the growing menace of narcotics.
In a statement, Saif Baba said the drug crisis has emerged as one of the biggest social challenges facing the region and called for collective efforts from society, religious leaders, parents, and law-enforcement agencies to eradicate the menace. He said the campaign reflects the administration’s seriousness in protecting future generations from falling prey to addiction.
He urged people, especially the youth, to actively support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and cooperate with the authorities in identifying and reporting drug peddlers. Saif Baba also appreciated the government’s resolve to ensure strict action against those involved in drug trafficking and said such sustained drives are essential for building a healthier and safer society.(KNB)
