Handwara, March 31 (KNB): A delegation from the Awami Ithad Party (AIP) visited the residence of senior leader Showkat Pandit in Unsoo Langate, to extend their heartfelt condolences on the passing of his father Ghulam Hassan Pandit, who breathed his last on Friday evening.
In a handout issued to KNB stated that the delegation, led by AIP General Secretary Prince Parvaiz and Party Political Affairs Committee Chairman Ishtiyaq Qaderi, conveyed their deepest sympathies to Showkat Pandit and his family during this time of bereavement.
Expressing their sorrow, the party leadership prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and strength for the family to cope with the loss.
AIP Spokesman Firdous Baba affirmed the party’s unwavering support to the Pandit family, echoing the sentiments of Party Supremo. He reiterated that the AIP stands firmly by their side during this difficult period.
In addition to Prince Parvaiz, Ishtiyaq Qaderi and Firdous Baba, the delegation included DDC Mawer Khursheed Ahmed Dar, former BDC Qaziabad Bashir Ahmed Mir, former BDC Mawer Tahir Ahmad as well as senior leaders Ajaz Lone, Altaf Ahmad Dar, Lateef Ahmed, Shabir Rather, Bashir Ahmad Mir and several others, all of whom came together to offer their condolences and support to the grieving family.-KNB
