Srinagar 11 November (KNB): One unidentified militant has been killed in an encounter that started a while ago in South Kashmir Kulgam’s Chawalgam area on Thursday afternoon.
The encounter started in the area after a cordon and search operation was carried out by a joint of Police, CRPF and Army in the Chawalgam area after having inputs about the presence of militants there.
However, as per police, one unidentified militant has been killed so far by security forces in Chawalgam after a gunfight started between the two sides.
The slain militant’s identification is yet to be known and the operation is said to be underway at the moment. (KNB)
