Srinagar 28 September (KNB): India has reported 18,795 new cases of Covid19, which is below 20K after 201 days, with 179 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,29,58,002 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 26,030 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 2,92,206, which is less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.87%,” said the Health Ministry.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.42 percent, a figure less than three percent for the last 29 days. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains 1.88 percent, which is less than 3% for the last 95 days,” it added.
The ministry further said that 87.07 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and more have administered more than one crore doses of vaccine in the last 24 hours.
It further said that 56.57 Cr total tests have been conducted so far throughout India. (KNB)
