Srinagar 07 August (KNB): A fresh firing has reportedly started in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district of Jammu on Saturday following the killing of two militants of LeT outfit yesterday in the area by security forces.
As per reports, the firing started on Saturday when the searches were being conducted by the security forces in the area. However, till now there is no confirmation of any casualty reported during the firing.
With the resumption of firing at Thanamandi, the encounter is going to enter into a second day as the operation had yesterday late morning started in Rajouri’s Thanamandi area.
However, on the first day of the encounter, two LeT militants were killed by security forces whose identities were not established by the police officials. (KNB)
