Srinagar 03 August (KNB): India has reported 30,549 new cases of Covid19 and 422 covid fatalities during the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry.
As per the ministry, a total of 3,08,96,354 covid patients have recovered so far in the country and 38,887 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours across India.
“The active caseload of the country currently stands at 4,04,958, which constitutes 1.28 percent of total cases in India,” said the Health Ministry.
It further said that the daily positivity rate at present is 1.85 percent, less than 5 percent. “Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5 percent, which is currently at 2.39 percent,” it added.
The ministry further said that 47.85 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and testing capacity substantially ramped up with 47.12 Cr. total tests conducted. (KNB)
