Srinagar 27 July (KNB): With 29,689 positive cases in the last 24 hours; India reported less thanĀ 30,000 Covid-19 cases after 132 days, said Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the morning update by Health Ministry, 415 people died due to the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 421382 across the country so far.
The Health Ministry said that the have been 3,06,21,469 total recoveries across the country so far and the recovery rate currently stands at 97.39 per cent.
“42,363 patients have recovered during last 24 hours,” they said.
As per the MoHFW, India’s active caseload is less than 4,00,000 after 124 days and currently stands at 3,98,100 and active cases constitute 1.27 per cent of total cases.
Weekly positivity rate remains below 5 per cent and currently stands at 2.33 per cent, MoHFW said, adding that the daily positivity rate is at 1.73 per cent, which remains below 5 per cent.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also informed that 44.19 Crore Covid vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive and also that the testing capacity has been substantially ramped up and a total of 45.91 crore tests have been conducted. (KNB)
