Srinagar 24 June (KNB): A teenage girl from Kishtwar was allegedly raped by an individual who was apprehended by police after being apprised about the incident.
The accused has been identified by police as Kamran Najjar against whom the police has registered a case.
The police took cognizance of the matter after the victim’s father reported the incident to the concerned police.
However, the police have filed cases under sections of 376/IPC and POCSO Act.(KNB)
