Srinagar 17 June (KNB): A 27 year old youth from Srinagar’s Moomin Abad area of Batamaloo allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death.
As per locals. the deceased has been identified as Taha Mohiuddin Bafanda, 27, who took his life after allegedly committing suicide. The locals said that the deceased had hanged himself in a third storey of his home.
The locals of the area after spotting the deceased’s body hanging from the ceiling informed the police, who later on rushed to the spot of incident.
Police official, while confirming the incident to KNB, said that the deceased had hanged himself at his home and came to know about it this morning.
He further said that the deceased’s body has been referred to SMHS for the post-mortem and case stands registered. (KNB)
