Srinagar 15 June (KNB): India recorded 60,471 daily novel coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, which is the lowest after 75 days, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Tuesday morning.
2,726 people have lost their lives due to the deadly virus in the country, the Ministry of Health said.
The total tally of infections across the country has now reached 2,95,70,881. Moreover, India’s Active Caseload declines to 9,13,378.
There have been 2,82,80,472 total Recoveries across the country so far, out of which 1,17,525 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours.
As per the Health Ministry, the daily recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 33rd consecutive day. Recovery Rate has increased to 95.64 per cent.
The Weekly Positivity Rate has dropped to less than 5 per cent and stands currently at 4.39 per cent. Whereas the daily positivity rate is at 3.45 per cent, which stands at less than 5% for 8 consecutive days.
Moreover, the Health Ministry said that Covid testing capacity has substantially ramped up and a total of 38.13 crore tests have been conducted so far. 25.90 Cr. Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. (KNB)
