Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Jagannath Pahadia Dies of Covid-19

Srinagar 20 May (KNB): Former chief minister of Rajasthan and ex-governor of Haryana and Bihar, Jagannath Pahadia (89), died of Covid-19 during the Wednesday night.

The current CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot broke the news through is Twitter handle, and said, “The news of the death of former Chief Minister of the state Shri Jagannath Pahadia ji is very sad. Mr. Pahadia served the country for a long time as Chief Minister, as Governor, as Union Minister, he was among the senior leaders of the country.”

In another Tweet, he said, “Pahadia left us because of Covid, I am very shocked by his death.”

Moreover, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also expressed grief over the demise of former Rajasthan Chief Minister.

He tweeted, “Saddened by the demise of former Rajasthan CM, Shri Jagannath Pahadia Ji. In his long political and administrative career, he made noteworthy contributions to further social empowerment. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti.”(KNB)
